Plant wall stickers: create an urban jungle without repotting

Plant wall stickers bring greenery into any room with no upkeep, no watering and no risk to your walls. Our catalogue features over 80 botanical wall sticker designs: tropical foliage, monstera, palms, ferns, flowers and life-size trees. Choose your style, put it up in under 15 minutes and enjoy natural decor that lasts 5 to 8 years depending on the surface.

Leaf and green plant stickers

Foliage remains the most versatile category: it fits just as well in a Scandinavian interior as in an industrial or boho one. Small to medium designs (30 to 80 cm) dress a wall without overwhelming it, while large compositions (over 120 cm) become the centrepiece of the room.

Which foliage to choose for each room

Room Recommended foliage Suggested size Visual effect
Living room Monstera, eucalyptus 120 to 180 cm Centrepiece above the sofa
Bedroom Fern, olive 60 to 100 cm Calming frame around the headboard
Kitchen Herbs, ivy 30 to 60 cm A fresh touch on the splashback
Bathroom Bamboo, tropical leaves 40 to 80 cm Spa-like, natural feel
Home office Fine branches, grasses 50 to 90 cm Non-distracting decor

For a cohesive interior, choose foliage wall stickers in a single shade (sage green, dark green or graphic black) rather than a mix of colours that overloads the eye.

Tropical plant stickers for a jungle look

Tropical designs have led decor trends since 2020 and are still hugely popular. They turn a white wall into a feature wall in minutes, with no repainting and no need to call in a professional.

The most popular varieties

  • Monstera deliciosa: the iconic split leaf, ideal in a large size above a sofa or bed; you'll find it as a corner design and in sage green watercolour among our living room wall stickers.
  • Banana leaves: generous volume, perfect for filling a section of wall more than 2 m high.
  • Areca palm: a slender silhouette that follows the vertical lines of a hallway or stairwell.
  • Strelitzia (bird of paradise): graphic and structured, recommended for minimalist interiors.
  • Philodendron: dense foliage that adds texture without overcrowding the space.

Which composition for which wall size

Wall area Number of designs Sticker height
Under 4 m² 1 central design 60 to 90 cm
4 to 8 m² 2 to 3 designs 100 to 140 cm
8 to 15 m² 3 to 5 designs 150 to 200 cm
Over 15 m² Multi-design composition Up to 250 cm

Flower and bouquet stickers

Floral designs bring something different: they're more delicate, more romantic and often in colour, unlike foliage, which is mostly monochrome. They're especially suited to kids' rooms, entrance halls and rooms under 12 m², where they create a focal point without taking over the space.

Flower styles available

  • Watercolour flowers: soft washes of colour, perfect for a gentle, feminine interior.
  • Botanical bouquets: detailed illustrations in the style of 19th-century scientific plates.
  • Minimalist continuous-line flowers: Scandinavian style, ideal for a pared-back interior.
  • Floating dandelions: a light design that spreads over 1 to 2 metres with a sense of movement.
  • Roses, peonies and magnolias: large-format flowers for feature walls.

Our full range of flower wall stickers covers all these styles, in sizes from 25 to 200 cm tall.

Tree and branch stickers

Trees are the most striking designs in our catalogue: a life-size tree sticker stands 180 to 250 cm tall and covers 3 to 6 m² of wall. It's the most effective way to transform a room in a single application.

The most common uses

  • Kids' room: a stylised tree to hang photos, drawings or garlands on.
  • Entrance and hallway: a vertical tree silhouette that follows the flow of the space without cluttering it.
  • Headboard: a horizontal branch above the bed, ideally between 80 and 120 cm tall.
  • Living room: a realistic olive, cherry or birch tree that brings an outdoor landscape to mind.

Comparison of the most popular trees

Tree Associated style Ideal room
Cherry blossom Japanese, romantic Bedroom, home office
Olive tree Mediterranean Living room, dining room
Birch Scandinavian, Nordic Living room, entrance hall
Stylised tree Graphic, playful Kids' room
Palm tree Tropical, exotic Hallway, stairwell

You'll find every design in our tree wall stickers collection, from small sizes for kids' rooms to XXL compositions for large living rooms.

Botanical wall stickers for the living room, bedroom and kitchen

Each room has its own constraints. The living room can take large sizes, the bedroom needs calming designs at eye level, and the kitchen calls for resistance to splashes and steam. Before you apply it, the wall must be clean, dry and smooth, and left for at least 48 hours after cleaning, otherwise the adhesive won't hold properly.

  • Living room: go for one large design rather than several small ones; it will read more clearly from over 3 metres away. Above the sofa, a trompe-l'oeil plant shelf takes the place of a real shelf, with no drilling.
  • Bedroom: avoid overly busy designs above the bed and choose airy foliage or branches instead, like the Decorative Hanging Foliage from our bedroom wall stickers.
  • Kitchen: keep the sticker at least 30 cm away from the hob to protect the adhesive.
  • Bathroom: place it at least 50 cm from the direct shower area.
  • Home office: choose designs in neutral colours so they don't break your concentration on video calls.

Nature lovers will also find complete compositions in our nature wall stickers selection, which mixes landscapes, animals and plants.

How to apply a plant wall sticker

Applying a botanical wall sticker takes 10 to 25 minutes on average, depending on the size of the design. You don't need any professional tools: a soft plastic squeegee, a clean cloth and a tape measure are all it takes.

3-step application guide

  1. Prepare the wall: clean it with soapy water, rinse, dry, then wait 48 hours before applying. Avoid walls repainted less than 3 weeks ago.
  2. Position the sticker dry: find the ideal height (usually 140 to 160 cm from the floor for the centre of the design), then fix the corners with masking tape before removing the backing.
  3. Apply in sections: peel the backing off in 20 cm strips, smooth with the squeegee from the centre outwards to push out air bubbles, then slowly remove the transfer film at a 180° angle.

Tips for a perfect finish on a painted wall

  • Recommended room temperature between 18 and 25°C: below that, the adhesive loses grip; above it, it becomes too soft.
  • On matt paint, press about 20% harder with the squeegee than you would on satin paint.
  • If a bubble appears after 24 hours, prick it with a fine needle and smooth it down: it will disappear without leaving a mark.
  • Avoid applying on fresh acrylic paint, unsmoothed filler or heavily textured wallpaper.
  • For clean removal, warm the sticker with a hairdryer from about 40 cm away for a few seconds before peeling it off.

Frequently asked questions about plant wall stickers

Do plant stickers damage the paint?

No, on paint in good condition applied more than 4 weeks ago, the sticker comes off without leaving a mark or pulling off the paint.

Can I put a plant wall sticker in a bathroom?

Yes, the vinyl we use withstands ambient humidity, as long as you keep it at least 50 cm away from areas hit by direct splashes.

What is the lifespan of a botanical wall sticker?

Indoors, allow 5 to 7 years on average with no visible fading of the colours or loss of adhesive.

Can the sticker be repositioned after applying it?

Yes, during the initial application only: once or twice before the final smoothing. After that, the adhesive reaches full strength and peeling it off may mark the design.

What size should I choose for a living room wall?

For a standard wall 2.50 m high, a plant sticker 120 to 180 cm tall gives the best visual balance.

Can I layer several plant stickers?

Yes, as long as you wait 48 hours between each application and don't overlap the adhesive areas, as they would lift each other off.
