How to apply your unicorn wall sticker

You don't need any special tools beyond a plastic squeegee or a stiff card. Success mainly comes down to preparing the surface and following the steps in order. Allow 10 to 20 minutes for a medium size, taking your time.

• Step 1 — Prepare the wall: clean the surface with a damp cloth, then leave it to dry for at least 30 minutes. The wall must be smooth, clean and dust-free.
• Step 2 — Position the sticker: place it without removing the protective film, and fix the corners with masking tape to check the position.
• Step 3 — Peel gradually: remove the backing paper from the top, smoothing as you go with the squeegee from top to bottom and from the centre outwards.
• Step 4 — Final smoothing: run the squeegee over the whole sticker with steady pressure to push out any air bubbles.
• Step 5 — Remove the transfer film: peel it off gently at a 180° angle, checking that every element is sticking well to the wall.
