Nature wall stickers turn a plain wall into a window onto the green world, in under 30 minutes. Flowers, trees, foliage, zen landscapes: this selection brings together every motif inspired by the natural world, to dress a living room, bedroom, home office or kids' room with no building work and no drilling; many of them also feature in our living room wall stickers. Each sticker goes onto a smooth surface and comes off cleanly, which makes it the ideal solution for renters, and for homeowners who like to change their decor often.

Our nature wall stickers

The collection is organised into main motif families, so you can choose easily by room and by the mood you're after. These nature wall decals come in a wide range of sizes, from small 30 cm decorative motifs to 200 cm-wide panoramic murals that cover an entire wall.

Motif family Suggested rooms Decorative effect
Flowers Bedroom, living room, hallway Romantic, soft
Trees Living room, kids' room Soothing, structuring
Plants & foliage Kitchen, home office, bathroom Fresh, urban jungle
Zen & Japanese nature Bedroom, meditation space Minimalist, serene
Landscapes Living room, hallway, headboard Escape, depth

Before ordering, measure the available space and take off around 10 cm from each edge to leave some visual breathing room. A motif that's too big overwhelms the room; one that's too small gets lost on a wall more than 3 m wide.

Flower wall stickers

Floral motifs are still the most popular in the nature sticker category, especially in bedrooms and living rooms with a feminine feel. They bring movement and colour to a plain wall without weighing the room down the way wallpaper can.

The most popular floral motifs

  • Roses and peonies: generous motifs, perfect above a headboard at 120 to 160 cm wide.
  • Cherry blossom branches: a Japanese-inspired look, ideal as a horizontal border of at least 180 cm.
  • Dandelions and floating seeds: very graphic, they bring a corner wall or a reading nook to life.
  • Sunflowers and daisies: a sunny mood, best in north-facing rooms to warm up the light.
  • Orchids and exotic flowers: clean silhouettes, perfect in monochrome black or gold.

For detailed floral designs, allow a viewing distance of at least 2 metres to take in the whole design. Our full collection of flower wall stickers brings together every size and colour available.

Tree wall stickers

Tree wall stickers are the largest designs in the collection, usually between 150 and 220 cm high, which makes them visible as soon as you walk into a room. They often act as a focal point, taking the place of a piece of artwork or a decorative shelf.

Choosing your tree to suit the mood

Type of tree Decor style Recommended height
Tree of life Boho, spiritual 150 to 200 cm
Japanese cherry tree Zen, romantic 180 to 220 cm
Bamboo Asian-inspired, minimalist 200 cm minimum
Baobab Ethnic, travel 160 to 200 cm
Palm tree Tropical, holiday 170 to 220 cm

A tree wall sticker placed behind a sofa should sit at least 20 cm clear of the backrest so it stays fully visible. To explore every design available, head to our dedicated tree wall stickers collection.

Plant & greenery wall stickers

Plant stickers tap into a strong trend: the urban jungle, a decor style that piles on greenery with no watering required. A plant sticker stays in place for over 5 years on a clean surface, whereas a houseplant needs weekly care.

Which plants for which room?

  • Cacti and succulents: compact, perfect for small spaces and kitchen walls where the heat rules out real plants.
  • Monstera and banana leaves: large graphic silhouettes, ideal in the bathroom where humidity would rule out some materials; the tropical foliage designs in our bathroom stickers are listed as waterproof on their product pages.
  • Tropical plants and palm fronds: create an accent wall in an entrance or a narrow hallway less than 1.2 m wide.
  • Climbing plants and ivy: follow corners and door frames, perfect for softening woodwork.
  • Stylised herbs: subtle motifs for kitchens, applied as a border above the worktop at least 60 cm from the splashback.

Tropical plant stickers work especially well in south-facing rooms, where bright light heightens the contrast of the cut-out leaves. Our selection of plant wall stickers and our detailed foliage wall stickers cover every style, from tropical to Scandinavian.

Zen & Japanese nature wall stickers

Zen nature wall stickers favour clean lines, monochrome and the asymmetry inherited from Japanese aesthetics. These motifs work particularly well in bedrooms and meditation spaces, where they help create a calming atmosphere.

The visual codes of zen style

Motif Symbolism Main colours
Sakura (cherry blossom) Fleeting beauty Pale pink, white
Bonsai Patience, balance Black, deep green
Bamboo Flexibility, strength Green, black
Lotus flower Purity, awakening Pink, white, gold
Mount Fuji Stability, serenity Blue, white

To keep the pared-back effect, stick to a single zen motif per wall and leave at least 50 cm of empty space around the design. The same rule applies to large zen nature wall stickers, which lose their impact as soon as they're surrounded by other decorative pieces.

Nature landscape wall stickers

Landscapes are the most immersive motifs in the collection: a 200 cm-wide mountain or forest panorama creates a true trompe-l'oeil and makes the room feel several metres bigger. These large formats need a clear wall, with no furniture in front of it for at least 1 metre. For a narrower stretch of wall, our nature trompe-l'oeil wall stickers open a window onto the forest or an arch onto the sea.

Choosing your landscape for the effect you want

  • Mountains and snowy peaks: visually enlarge small rooms thanks to their depth of field.
  • Forests and woodland: create a cocooning feel, perfect as a headboard or in a hallway more than 4 m long.
  • Ocean and beaches: a calming blue palette, recommended for bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Waterfalls and rivers: add vertical movement that gives structure to walls over 2.7 m high.
  • Panoramic nature trompe-l'oeil: maximum effect when the sticker covers at least 70% of the wall's width.

For a convincing trompe-l'oeil, apply the sticker at eye level: the centre of the design should sit between 1.40 m and 1.60 m from the floor, depending on whether the room is mostly used standing or sitting.

How do you choose a nature wall sticker?

Three criteria are all you need to guide your choice: the room, the size of the wall and the overall decor style. Getting the size wrong is the number one mistake we see at application, ahead of choosing the wrong colour.

A 4-step method

  1. Measure the wall in width and height, then take off a 10 to 15 cm margin on each side.
  2. Choose a motif whose main dimension covers between 50% and 70% of the wall's dimension for the best visual balance.
  3. Check that the sticker's palette picks up one or two colours already in the room (textiles, furniture, paint).
  4. Do a dry run with brown kraft paper cut to the same size to confirm the placement before the final application.

Rooms and sizes: pairings that work

Room Recommended size Type of motif
Living room 150 to 220 cm Tree, landscape
Bedroom 120 to 180 cm Flowers, branches
Kids' room 100 to 150 cm Stylised tree, animals
Kitchen 60 to 120 cm Plants, herbs
Home office 80 to 140 cm Foliage, zen
Hallway / entrance 100 to 200 cm Climbing plants, landscape

Application tips for a flawless finish

  • Clean the wall with soapy water, then leave it to dry for at least 2 hours before application.
  • Work at a temperature between 15 °C and 25 °C: below that, the adhesive won't stick properly; above it, it softens.
  • Use a plastic squeegee, smoothing from the centre outwards to push out air bubbles.
  • Wait 24 hours before touching the sticker or decorating around it, so the adhesive can settle.

Nature wall stickers: frequently asked questions

How do I apply a wall sticker?

Clean the wall with soapy water, dry it completely, then apply the sticker by smoothing it with a squeegee from the centre outwards to push out any air bubbles.

Do stickers damage walls?

No, quality stickers peel off cleanly without leaving a mark or pulling off paint, as long as the wall paint itself is well bonded and has been dry for at least 4 weeks.

What size should I choose for my living room?

Allow 150 to 220 cm for a main living room wall, or 50 to 70% of the wall's width, for a well-proportioned focal point without overcrowding the space.
